Francesco's Restaurant & Grill

shopgirl Mar 21, 2009 07:33 AM

Anyone been to Francesco's? I'm looking for an Italian restaurant, preferably BYO, to host a gathering of about 16-18 people.
The area seems fairly close to all involved, but don't know anything about the place or the neighborhood.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I just had a 12-person family event dinner at Laguna's in White Plains and we all thought it was terrific. The food was very good and the service was also well done. They seem to have a number of large party dinners there, so they know what they are doing.

I love Francesco's and actually looked into that place first before Laguna's, but they absolutely can not handle that number of people... and they don't take reservations.

It's kind of dark and depressing, too.

Funny -- it reminds me of all the old world-style Italian places my parents would take me growing up in Queens in the 70's, but done up nicely.

I guess one person's "dark and depressing" is another's "character and charm."

Francesco's for 16-18; don't know if they can handle. you would need to make arrangements before for tables to held. I don't know what their corkage charge is, if any. Ernesto's, on the other side of white plains can handle your needs. You will have to ask re the corkage charge.
