Late Night Upscale Dining-Houston

Suggestions on dinner after 10p this Saturday eve., Downtown/Midtown/Montrose/inside the loop vicinity.. Not looking to do Mai's, House of Pie's, etc. Dolce Vita stops serving at 11p... Idea's? Thx in advance!

Crave Sushi! They're right down the street from Mai's. And they stay open til 4am on Fridays and Saturdays! Very modern and sleek decor! Very upscale-ish! Great atmosphere and very fresh sushi! Good luck!

According to the fearless Critic Guide Late nite upscale in that area available are:

Gravitas until 11:30 pm
La Strada until 3 am
Strip House until midnight

In River Oaks
Smith & Wollensky's until 2 am

There are plenty more but most are more casual or have terrible ratings.

Edit to add Birraparetti's (sp?) not upscale but open until 1 am.

Thx so much for the reply... Well,, we settled on Mai's and it was fine... Its kind of amazing,, that in a city this size its hard to find a hi-end restaurant open late (and late is a relative term). When u consider,, the theater district empties at 10-1030p,,, u gotta hustle or head to Katz! I'll remember La Strada next time.. Thank danhole!
