Good lunch off I-75 between Covington and Georgetown, KY?

Hi, we're taking a drive to Georgetown from Cincinnati. Any suggestions for a festive lunch? If I don't come up with something, I guarantee we'll end up at a Cracker Barrel or comparable. No Asian or Indian, please, I love those foods, but the others wouldn't be interested. Thanks!

just an idea - if you didn't post this on the midwest board, you might want to post there too since cincinnati hounds are usually there and they might have ideas.

especially if you're willing to do right in covington area. after that there's not much.

Thanks, we actually know the Covington and Cincinnati areas pretty well, we were actually looking for something a little further south. I'll keep looking around.

fair enough! :) maybe someone knows. and i noticed there are 2 georgetown KYs so i realized i didn't know which one... if it's the one with the toyota plant it's too bad no one will do asian because i'd heard there was some decent japanese around there. at least once upon a time.

The only Georgetown is right outside of Lexington. The place you are talking about in Harlan is just a community ...not a town or city. In Ky(as well as most of the South) that is very common.

LOL! I saw the two Georgetowns thing the other day and thought, "Huh?" It didn't even cross my mind that the second one was in my hometown! I'm surprised that it showed up on mapquest, as it isn't even a community anymore. Since the Corps of Engineers built a flood wall, the only thing there is a high school athletic complex....so, unless you want to stop by the concession stand for a hot dog, it's definitely not Chow-worthy!
