  1. Whole Foods Union Square - just saw them there the other day, in the produce department near the mushrooms. Also available: emu eggs and ostrich eggs. Please get those and tell me how they are. I can't afford them, but I'm very curious.

    1. it's a pretty standard item at most Whole Foods Markets locations, but check with the one closest to you to make sure they have them in stock.

      1. Chinatown grocery stores usually carry them.

Yes. I was in Hong Kong Supermarket on Hester St. earlier this week and noticed them, there.

And they are MUCH less expensive in Chinatown than at the gourmet stores.

          2. In Midtown, you can get them at any of the Japanese markets, such as Katagiri.

            1. Agata and Valentina on 79th & 1st. They also sell yummy duck eggs. You also might find quail eggs at at Citerella. Also, maybe Union Sq Farmers Market?

Citarella does have them. As another posted mentioned, however, they are indeed much cheaper in Chinatown - I plan to make a trip down there to get some, as well as some duck eggs, to blow out for Easter.

              2. I've seen them at Whole foods at Time Warner and at the Italian Store in the Chelsea Market.
