New "big" Indian Grocer Orange, CT
Just read about this place in the New Haven Advocate today. I have not been there but it looks promising. Anyone been here yet?

I saw that but it kind of made me mad that they didn't mention the nice Indian markets in West Haven. Oh well, I'll check it out next time I'm in the area for some Olive Garden (kidding!).

I think it's over near Baja's, on that side somewhere.

I have been there a few times, nice selection of spices, lots of frozen foods, fresh veggies too.
It is in the same plaza as Goodwill

I'm over there quite a bit (currently obsessed with cooking Indian food). It's a really nice place. The prices are really terrific and there's a pretty big selection--everything from spices and beans to huge sacks of rice and frozen foods. They have some cookware, too. I load up on the frozen naan, inexpensive Indian side dishes, incense, and sauces.
