Sichuan peppercorns

Anyone know where I can buy sichuan (szechuan) peppercorns? I checked Hong Kong mkt and they didn't have any.

    I got mine at Williams Sonoma at Lakeside. I couldn't find them at the local Asian markets when I looked.

        Penzey's is the absolute best. Once you try their spices you won't buy any others. The nearest store is in Houston and well worth the trip. Prices are reasonable and the staff is helpful. I wish they would open a store in Baton Rouge or New Orleans. There is always hope.

        I bought mine at the Oriental Market at 3324 Transcontinental. I think that is the corner of Vets and Transcontinental.
