Where to find castelvetrano olives in Orange County

umami Mar 18, 2009 10:50 AM

I've tried Whole Foods and Bristol Farms but no luck. I've heard so much about these olives and I'm dying to try them!

Not near Orange County but I've seen them at Broadway Deli in Santa Monica.

You can order them online from Surfas, if you don't want to make the drive to Culver City. Bay Cities and Guidi Marcello in Santa Monica also carry them.

You might check with http://www.villaromarest.com/market.html and there is also Claro's Italian Market in Tustin. Not sure if either place has them, but they are likely suspects.

Monsieur Marcel French market at the Farmer's market on 3rd & Fairfax has THE BEST castelvetrano! It's worth the drive from OC. :)

The Ralphs in Granada Hills had them a couple weeks ago. I want to say they were $7.99 for the jar.
