Lora Brody's Trianon cake

Reading 'Growing Up on the Chocolate Diet" which is autobiographical and sprinkled with recipes. The chapter that ended with this recipe has got me intrigued and desperate to try this acclaimed chocolate cake. Is anyone familiar and have you made it?

This should be of interest (from 2005).

Thank you Buttertart! Would love to hear from anyone who has actually made it.

This was asked a long time ago! But Yes! I have made The Trianon several times. I just found my recipe card. It's really good. A different consistency - my children call it the chocolate brick. I serve it with unsweetened whipped cream and raspberry sauce. One note, you have to follow the directions exactly.
