Tallahassee Caterer

  • 7

Can I get some recommendations for catering a small business meeting in Tallahassee? It will be dinner, but should be less than 50 people. Casual is completely fine. We're looking at $12-$14 per person. Thanks!

  1. flgrl,

Not all that familiar with the local caterers but the paella guy who does paella demos at Lake Ella is in the business. My wife attended one of his sessions and brought back a sample. it was excellent. Paella can fill a large group easily with just a salad and dessert to add tot he menu. Not sure how to contact him but surely one of th emerchants at lake Ella or even the TD has info. Good luck.

Taste Budz on Capitol Circle does catering as well as offering a variety of pre-made take home meals five days each week. While I have never been to any of their catered events, I have enjoyed several of the take home dinners. Their take home dinners are in the $8.50-$9.00 range complete with salad, so I am sure she could work in your price range. I believe she has a contract with a local downtown cafeteria as well. Give Judy a call, she seems very dedicated to her work. I don't believe she has a website as she e-mails weekly dinner menus every Monday morning.

I've used tastebuds for secretary day lunceon and they were reasonable and food was fresh. Nothing fancy, but salads and sandwiches. There is also a new caterer who does BBQ and desserts called Bacon and Bakin, located in All Saints that I've heard good things about.

Judy at Taste Budz does have a website. You can find it at:

          And they do cater.

You can learn more about us at http://piggysbbqonline.com including our Lunch Express menu as well as some comments from our customers.

Had the pleasure of trying your bbq at an FSU graduation party. This is great stuff. The sides were delish too. Look forward to ordering ourselves for an event.
