Lunch in the Keys

I will be escaping to the Keys this week for a day and would like a suggestion for lunch. Prefer on the water between Isamorada and Key Largo. Great food a must but not seafood (I know seems odd for near the water!). I like Lazy Days for a point of reference. Small places also a plus instead of the larger resort type restaurants.

So, kscwilson, inquiring (jealous) hounds wanna know...did ya go, did ya go, did ya go (to Island Grill)? :)

My mom and I went to Island Grill in Islamorada on the advice of locals we met while on vacation a couple of years ago. We did eat seafood, but that's not all they do. The food was great and it's right on the water. Have a look:

Have fun wherever you wind up!

I was just about to suggest the same, as I was there just two days ago (now back in Chicago! boooo) and had a really nice dinner at the Island Grill. Great view, very laid back, small place, very delicious!
