Staying at the Waldorf Hilton in the theater district

Can you recommend some reasonable restaurants in the area? In our city, New York, there are many places offering $35+ pre-theater or pre fixe specials. Is this the case in London? If so, could you please share your favorites? Thanks, in advance, for your help.

Depending on the timing of your theatre tickets, you could check out J. Sheekey for something "British." Although I just checked out their menu and pre-theatre is a la carte...

You might enjoy Great Queen St. It's good 'modern British.' $35 translates these days to about £25 or so. With main courses many places running about £10 or so, the price seems right.

You can check www.toptable.co.uk or www.london-eating.co.uk for special deals. They often have some very good offerings (by area).

I had to smile at the name of your hotel. I'm orginally from the NYC area. :-)
