where to buy or eat live sea urchin (uni)

I want to find a place that serves sea urchin in the shell or a large seafood market that sells live sea urchin in Manhattan

    citarella usually has it. they have scallops in the shell as of yesterday and saturday

      Yes - my husband occasionally gets sea urchin from there as well - worth calling ahead though.

      Hi. I have not had sea urchin in the shell at Soto, but if you are an uni fan, you owe yourself a dinner at Soto! It is pricey but his use of uni in multiple dishes is sublime.

        Yesterday I was at the Lobster Place in the Chelsea Market and they had Live Sea Urchin.
