Serious Chinese, near Pasadena, low to moderate $$$?

Hi all,
So I am working the family winemakers event in Pasadena today, and I just realized I may be close to a serious Chinese meal that I can't get on the Westside!
Whattdya got for me?

Are you all by yourself? If so go to one of the dumpling places reviewed in the post just below you (Current Soup Dumpling...). Aside from Ding Tai Fung, the other places are located south of Pasadena.

yeah, it may end up being a solo or 2 person Soup Dumpling run (I still have chopsticks from Joe's Shanghai on my fridge) but it may turn into my opinion on where the entire company should eat, which makes it tougher. I was thinking Peking Duck, but the 35$-50$ sticker is really too much for me on a Tuesday.
