Sunday Brunch in Sausalito

I'm looking for a place for brunch in Sausalito for this Sunday. Any suggestions?

I haven't been for brunch, but I love Poggio in Sausalito, and I've noticed a breakfast/brunch menu on their website.

Horizons is good. Former Trident. Right on the water, unbeatable view, deck / dock seating in nice weather.

What have you tried at Horizons?

I went there for a wine dinner a few months ago. I don't remember any specific dishes but everything was good, which surprised me given the location and view.

If you read my report take a look at the directions. It is sort of hidden and not easy to find.

I like the buffet breakfast at Murray Circle which ends at 10 am where brunch starts. The big advantage to the buffet is the fabulous croissants ... and you can eat all you want. The brunch is by the plate. Some can be small and on the pricey side. I haven't been to MC for a while.

If you are looking for homey and slightly funky there is Sartag which in addition to regular breakfasts, there are some with an Indian spin. They make their own pies which are good.

I keep meaning to try out Lighthouse Cafe. I haven't been to Fred's for literally a few decades when it had some rave in the Chronicle. The lines are still there. I liked it but since I was living in SF, it wasn't worth a special trip for me. Don't know how it is these days.

Don't know a thing about Anchorage #5. I want to try. Bayside Cafe.
