Smokin' - North Hollywood Ca

I decided its time to revisit Smokin'. I'm happy I did, I urge you all to make sure this gem of an establishment continues to satisfy.

I had the ribs, and the guy nearby had the steak, we both agreed they were both delicious . for some authentic red meat you cant beat it, and although the meat was super prime, the prices are cheap.

The owner seems to be an extremely nice person, who really takes pride in his products.

The only thing I didnt really appreciate enough was the cornbread, I thought it was dry, but no matter.

The meal was filling and delicious. The service was attentive.

Thank you, Smokey!

Thanks for revisiting, and I'm glad you enjoyed it this time. Two corrections to your post, however. You mentioned that the meat was super prime, and if that's a qualitative assessment based upon personal opinion, that's fine. But as far as a USDA grading of the meat, I rarely use Prime, since it's hard to get and expensive. Instead, most of my meat is USDA Choice. Also, my name is Craig, not Smokey. I just don't want people to think that there's any relationship to Smokey Joe's in Teaneck, NJ, the only other full service kosher BBQ restaurant in the USA, except for a friendly respect and rivalry.
