Saigon Vietnam Restaurant Morristown

Was visiting Morristown over the weekend and got detoured by the St. Patricks Day Parade. Noticed a new Vietnamese Place not far from the Train Station.

Wondering if it is the real deal since I am a frequent vistor and they will never open something like that where I live. Any clue what is on the menu? Banh Mi, Pho....?

The Vietnamese restaurant in Florham Park is much better. Don't remember the name, but its across the street from the roller skating ring. Corner of Ridgedale and Columbia Tpk.

ABSOLUTELY agree...go to Viet Ai in Florham Park! The place is tiny...it's on Ridgedale Ave, almost to the corner of Columbia Turnpike--as gigig said, across from the FP Roller Rink. The entrance is in the back of the building. GREAT pho and other authentic dishes.

Yeah, Florham Park is what I meant instead of East Hanover. Their banh hoi is excellent! My husband is Viet and is often impressed by what they have available on the menu.

I was excited to find out a local Viet restaurant had opened up in the area so we went out to try it. I reviewed it on yelp if you're interested:

Long story short, don't bother going there. It's not an authentic Viet restaurant but a Chinese-owned restaurant. I thought Viet Ai in East Hanover was 100 times better. Did not try the pho though. Way too scared to!

Thanks for the tip. I've been thinking about going. Now I won't bother.
