Center City Falafel

DaisyM Mar 15, 2009 04:56 PM

Any suggestions for great falafel in center city? I'd like a place that has tables, as opposed to a cart. Thank you!

You want to go to Mama's Vegetarian, on 20th, between Market and Chestnut.

Sounds great, but I looked at their site and they are closed on Saturdays. Any other suggestions for a Saturday lunch? Sorry, I should have specified when I was going to be there.

Maybe it was my low expectations (it's a chain), but I really enjoyed the falafel at Maoz at 11th and Walnut.

      Alyan's at 4th & South Streets.

Alyan's is very good, but if you're in center city it's not exactly convenient.

I will absolutely try Alyan's next time I'm in Queen Village. Any other suggestions for right in center city on a Saturday? Thank you!

If you're looking to sit in Center City and have great falafel on a Saturday, you may be out of luck.
