2009 clam shack openings

Haven't seen it posted yet so thought I'd pass along the news from my phone calls this morning:

Farnhams in Essex is open for the season. Can't wait to get up there but today wasn't the day.

The Quincy/Wollaston Clam Box is open too. The clams today at Clam Box were quite good.

Tony's in Qunicy looked like it is still closed.

If I told you I've been going to Farnham's since the late '50s would you hold it against me? In those days all that was needed was a sprinkling of salt over the clams and nothing else. Oh well, and the odd six-pack in the back seat.....

and The Clam Box of Ipswich is now open year round!!!

Went to JT Farnhams friday night. As usual the clams were a 10 out of 10.
I've never had anything but perfection here. Clam plate now runs $18.95
