Shirred eggs?

Where can I find a really good shirred eggs in the greater Boston area without having to make them? Have car, will travel. Thanks in advance.

Sonsie has them on their brunch menu. I haven't tried them, though.

I have had shirred eggs at Henrietta's Table, but it might have been during their Sunday brunch ($40+ is a lot to pay for shirred eggs). Its worth a call to see if they will make them regularly. I also wonder if you couldn't get them with locke-ober's hash if they are open for lunch again, but certainly would be a special request.

I had these at Saturday brunch a few weeks ago. It is a dish with 2 strips bacon, 2 sausages, home fries, and shirred egg. If you get just that dish it is about $18 or you could do the 3 course brunch for $28 (I think that was the price). I got the a la carte version which was way more then enough to keep me full the rest of the day. Sunday is the big buffet.

Certainly is worth a call, thanks! Will report back in with details.
