SAINT PATRICK'S DAY IS TUESDAY. WHERE TO GO FOR GREAT CORNED BEEF & CABBAGE?.

We need some help in finding a great restaurant for traditional Corned Beef & Cabbage on Tuesday, Saint Patrick's Day.

We have heard from friends that they have gone to EAMON DORANN on Montague Street, in past years, and liked it.

Any suggestions of the best place to get the authentic deal? Some great Irish Soda Bread would be a welcome addition as well.

TIA

  1. I know you're a Brooklyn girl but if you ever decide to venture acros the bridge, Canlon's has great CB&C and they offer it year round. :-}
    Here's a review and their interesting, value priced menu.

      Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe another time. We need someplace not too far to go after work with a few friends.

      How are you all celebrating Saint Patrick's Day?

      There is an OK Irish Soda Bread at LASSEN & HENNIG, Any other, more authentic sources?

    2. I don't know if you've found a place already but Buckley's at Ave S and Nostrand Ave in Marine Park serves an excellent corned beef and cabbage.

      1. Authentic? Try Katz's. ;) It's not Irish at all.
