Tom's Tavern is closing!
I just got a reply from Tom Gianfrancesco to my e-mail and he confirms that they are indeed closing at the end of the month. It reads as follows:
"Unfortunately it's true. Long story but sadly enough the end of the month is it for Tom's Tavern. We are having a St. Pats - Happy Trails Party with live Irish music 4-8 PM hope to see you then.

I will be there and hope to see some of the many Hounds who have supported this wonderful family owned & operated pub for almost thirty years.

http://sunchronicle.com/articles/2009...Tom's Tavern "Last Call" was a bit earlier than originally expected. Sunday was their last day, shutting their doors forever at midnight. An auction of the property will be held at the tavern on 3/31. The article contains direct quotes from Tom G. in which he explains their untenable situation. Being the stand-up guy that I know, and would expect, he doesn't sugar-coat his own culpability.

Sorry, but true. I had an awesome pulled pork sandwich for lunch. Spicy fries, cause they are out of reg. fries, O rings and many other things. Tom, we at MW HOG will miss you.
