Why use flesh-colored or cartoon bandages to cover your cuts and scrapes when you could use a (plastic) strip of bacon?

Archie McPhee is the manufacturer http://www.mcphee.com/ They have lots of other food-themed stuff (yodeling pickle, anyone? Or a pickle-pult? Yes, a catapult that hurls pickles!). The world headquarters are in Seattle--skip the Space Needle and visit Archie's when you're in town!

Love Archie's. I've got the yodeling pickle, my Jack Russell goes nuts when I press the button. I use the bacon packing tape too, gals at the post office get a charge out of it.

Oooooooooh, and a free toy to boot? I'm in. Guess that makes me a perpetual kid, too (big surprise there). ;) Oh man...same page...I just might have to order some Black Cat bandages for obvious reasons! Though I think the bacon probably gets my vote for the funniest one. Fun post!

My parents gave me the bacon and eggs bandages for Christmas a few years ago. Sadly the free toy is a thumbnail sized plastic pig, certainly appropriate, definitely "free," but not really a toy :(

HA HA! My favorite food toy is a Dairy Queen cone with little Mr. Potato Head-like facial attachments. I used to keep it on my desk as a barometer of how the day was going. Mr. Cone had a happy face and an "uh-oh" face. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line, I lost the happy face and he's been stuck with his "Oh, $#*+!" expression for probably the past 8 years or more. It's more appropriate for how most workdays go, anyway. ;)

I got the bacon "wallet" and the bacon wrapping paper for my niece's birthday. Her vegetarian husband almost went into meltdown. I kept the bacon band-aids for myself. Love Archie's!
