brunch/lunch in Riverside/Leslieville with wheat-free options

I'll be having brunch with a friend who doesn't eat wheat. Most items at Bonjour Brioche or Toast seem to be pastry or bread based.

What are my best options for a weekend lunch with several wheat-free options? I've been considering Table 17, Joy Bistro, or Edward Levesque (have read about service issues on these boards).

I noticed that Leslie Jones has a wheat-free quiche on their brunch menu, although apart from the appetizers, there aren't too many other whea-tfree options.. Has anyone tried Leslie Jones for brunch? I haven't read much about it on here.

I think I've had the Leslie Jones quiche... it has a sweet potato bottom to it - good, pricey. You could try Prohibition or Ceilidh cottage - oysters are GF ....

Lady Marmalade is great. They have several GF options, but also offer gluten free bread. Only issue is lines on weekends so be prepared to wait if you don't get there early enough.

damn, just noticed that the OP asked this in 2009 (what the hell, roostermom? how did you even dredge this one up from the dead? :)) AND someone before me already gave the same answer. oops :)

It was on my sidebar, 'Discussions you might also like..' which is interesting since I HATE GF food! (but I live in Riverdale so I suppose it's appropriate).
