Nice quality breakfast pastries (like croissants) in the Bethesda/Rockville Area?

I'm looking for breakfast pastries (a little nicer than supermarket or Costco). Any recommendations? I like Pralines Bakery in Bethesda, but I'm buying for 20 people, so it's a little pricey. French Confection in Olney is good but it's a little far.

Praline is not cheap, but I've not found anything remotely close to their quality in MoCo.

Maybe they'll cut you a discount for a purchase that large?

french confection is worth the ride
also balducci's on old GT road in wildwood shopping center may be a good choice
finally there is a place on nicholson lane next to Tapei Tokyo cafe that is a french bakery and you may get what you need there
