Chocolate Chip Cookie at Patisserie Poupon

This one's for all you cookie monsters out there. Stopped by PP in Baltimore the other day and they are now selling their rendition of chocalate chip cookies. I thought the cookies were quite a bargain for $1, second only to their 60 cent madelines. I had one fresh out of the oven. The outside was crisp, the inside soft. Plenty of chocolate chunks and walnuts. The cookie reminds me of, dare i say it, the chocolate chip walnut cookies at Levain Bakery in NYC. In fact, I would say even the shape of the cookie is proportionally just like Levain's, but PP's cookies are smaller in size.

They had them at the Georgetown location recently. They were a huge hit with our family as well.
