Rouge Wine Bar: Newcomer in SoNo

Popped in there last night. It is in the spot where a deli was 5 or 6 years ago. Between Match and Black Bear.

A thin, sliver of a place but very nicely decorated. Clean, dark wood and lots of mirrors. Decent wine list. About 40 seats for eating.

I think it might be "Greek Owned" due to the representation of quite a few Greek wines on the list, which you never see.

I did not eat or drink....just looked in. We wish them well.

jfood tried making a reservation there last week. They do not pick up the phone and have voice mail. Left a voice mail and no return call. Tough business model.

It is owned by the same people that own Harbor Lights...
