Dinner Around the 9:30 club

Going to a show at the 9:30 Club this Friday night. Yay Modest Mouse! Anyways the doors open at 8, but we would like to grab dinner before. Would prefer something cheaper to moderate. Open to any type of food. Just needs to be quick, as we don't want to stuck at the back of the venue. Thank you so much!

If the Irish place across the street is still open, they had great fish as well as shepard's pie.

That would be Duffys. Yes, they're still open. Great happy hour specials. One of the few places that serves National Bohemian. Fish and chips are tasty.

Oddly, Duffy's isn't having happy hour pricing from March 12th-March 16th (per the website)

Before a 9:30 club show - we usually eat at Vinoteca - about 2 or 3 blocks away.
If you can make it before 7pm, their happy hour is pretty good - all wines by the glass are $5, and they have $7 sliders (2 w/a salad)

HIGHLY recommend The Greek Spot. Tasty, cheap, and a great bunch of guys. Their vegetarian dishes aren't shabby either.

Etete is about a half block away, and the food comes out very quickly. Plus, it's a fun way to start a night - not stuffy.

This would be my choice as well. I went with my cousin recently and the food came out almost 10 minutes after ordering. Very fast and tasty!
