Sugar Shack for the carless?

I heard about a sugar shack near Montreal that offered transportation, food and BYOB fun on friday nights. I can't find it online anywhere.. anyone ever heard of it?

    1. I couldn't find the one you mentioned, but if you're single, this may be up your alley:

        1. its true i see a lot of different groups organizing bused trips to sugar shacks but here are some other possibilities i saw in paper:

--destination cabane a sucre Lalande, organized by amt trains, includes visit, traditional meal, maple taffy pull and horse drawn carriage ride
free for 0-3, and varies in price according to age, adults $42 and over 65 $35 with cheaper rates on Thursdays, the escapades leave thurs and sats from gare centrale leaving around 11:30 and returning after 4pm or 5pm, reservations and details at www.escapadesentrain@amt.qc.ca or call 514-287-7866

---there is also a cabin a sucre organized in montreal for April4-5 at Jean Drapeau parc, Helene de Champlain restaurant different prices for children, adults, meal or tire but seemed reasonable, reservations soon would be needed as part of a festival and limited tickets, can purchase at ticketpro.ca or a couple of stores listed on website, more details there as well
