Prime Rib Dinner; Orange Cty or eastern LA county

Looking for recommendations for prime rib dinner. We used to drive up to "Red Tractons" in the Valley. Then after they moved to San Diego, across from Del Mar, we feel the quality declined. But that was several years ago and we haven't returned.
So now we're casting about for a good location near north Orange County.

My sister raves about the prime ribs at The Summit House (Fullerton), though I've never been.... I've had PR at both The Cellar (Fullerton) and Taps Fishhouse (Brea) and both were good but were nothing to write home about. If you're looking for steak, it might be worth the extra 15 minute drive to Mastro's near South Coast Plaza.

I second all of OCAnn's great suggestions. Summit House is particularly good, though.

Agree. Some of their other dishes are less than stellar, but the prime rib is consistently good and the sides (mmmm, creamed corn, mmmm, creamed spinach) are excellent.

They also make a mean (real) martini.

I think this fits close to, sort of, the Eastern LA County area. The Dal Rae http://www.dalrae.com/ Never had the Prime Rib but the Pepper Steak is GREAT! The stuff prepared table side is fun!

One of my favorite places is Gullivers by John Wayne Airport. Go with the Gulliver's Cut...It's delicious!!
