Bangkok Cooking Schools--Not Blue Elephant
I went to the Blue Elephant last year for a cooking class and had a great time, but would like to do something different the next time I am in Bangkok (April). Has anyone had a great experience that they would like to share?

my little sister and i did a thai cooking class at someone's home in Bangkok recently. i blogged about it here: http://suzynam.com/blogthai/?p=176
if you know how to cook and want to learn specific things, i'd definitely recommend doing this instead of going to a school. downside is that it's a little more expensive (2,000B per person, tho that's about the same as Blue Elephant and other high end ones) and less fancy.
