Anything good near Massey Hall?

We're going to the Mavis Staples concert at Massey Hall in a week or so and I've been trying to think of a place to meet for dinner beforehand. Any suggestions brothers/sisters?

I go to Superior all the time and really love it. The ambience is good, the wine list is amazing and the food is above average (though not perfect). Kind of expensive. I also agree with people on the Beer Bistro, great beers and food, nice little patio off the street..

Any ideas for a pre or post show cocktail or beer...doesn't have to be high end, just fun for all ages?

The bar in the lobby of the Pantages Hotel (around the corner on Victoria) has OK martinis. There is a bar menu but I can't comment on the food.

A short walk away is both Terroni and the Beer Bistro.

Osteria Ciceri e Tria, although I haven't been myself but there have been positive comments on the board. No website unfortunately.

                    Second Linda.

                    I'd also recommend George.
