    Holy crap. The Pizza Cone, now why didn't I think of that?

    I wonder....

      Most of it reminds me why I'm vegetarian.... But the pizza cone actually looked like a good idea! Couldn't tell the size (would need small versions), but it seems like a handy way to handle a pizza on the go besides encasing it in dough.

        All I could think of was Pizza-in-a-Cup from "The Jerk".

        Most of this stuff looks inedible, and I can't believe you could enjoy eating it. That excludes, of course, deep fried desserts (like the oreos, cupcakes, moon pies, etc.)

          Oh, I don't know...those items strike me as _particularly_ inedible.
          Only in America....sheesh.

            "Only in America"? My guess is you don't get out much. ever hear of a "Scotch Egg"? And that actually is for consumption.

            Other things readily available in my immediate environs:
            * Bacon-wrapped sausage
            * Battered pizza

            And not as a joke.

              I'd also like to add that the bacon poutine is from a shop here in Toronto called Smoke's!

              Unhealthy food comes from everywhere.

                I realise I should have clarified that I am NOT in America.

                Sounds like you should broaden your horizons a bit then. How different are these from things like funnel cakes or donuts? Sweet, greasy and deep fried. Not the healthiest, and you certainly wouldn't want to make a habit of them, but to say they would be inedible is a bit of a stretch, I think.

                As far as the "only in America" bit...well, I thought that was a given. :D

                  Well, OK...good point. Not inedible I suppose....
                  Just boils down to personal taste, of course.

                    Actually, as someone else pointed out the "only in America" thing was a bit silly considering that we didn't invent things like the deep fried mars bar, deep fried twinkies, deep fried pizza, etc.

                      Really? I assumed we had!

                      Just one more area where the US is falling behind the world. Someone bring me a Fry Daddy, some pizza, chocolate sauce and sugar. Quickly!!!

                    "Only in America"

                    Actually the deep fried Mars bar is Scottland's contribution. Some guy in a fish and chip shop go bored and decided to try it and it worked well for him. I saw stuff like that there well before I saw it here.

                  My daughter at college would LOVE for me to make the giant rice krispie treat and send it to her. Her fraternity guy friends would devour that puppy...

                    It looks like a lot of that stuff (especially the more recent entries) are 'lets see how disgusting we can make something' rather than real food... or if they ARE meant for consumption, it's by twenty to thirty people! lol

                      After purusing this site, I think the "ditch dog" the macaroni and cheese on a hot dog is intriguing...

                            The woman across the hall from me would like the mega hamburger. She would have no trouble getting her mouth around it either :-)

                              Holy Moses...Yikes is right.

                              I'm surprised the famous (infamous) NJ Italian Hot Dog (name of restaurant mercifully withheld) isn't in there somewhere...That's one item that has to be one of the most heinous crimes against food (and your arteries and waistline ) there is...

                                Whoa Baby.

                                A NJ Dog is just 2 dogs cooked in a tiny bit of oil along with some fries that also had an oil jacuzzi on a nice piece of bread. Maybe some onions and peppers to balance the flavors.

                                It is nowhere near these gargantuan belly-busters.

                                Stop messin' with one of NJ's contributions to high end cuisine.
