Easter - authentic experience
I am traveling with my wife to Italy for and will be there Easter weekend. Most likely we will be in Piedmont or Emilia Romagna for Easter, and we would love to experience a more authentic Easter than going to a Restaurant that is open (once had Chinese in Rome on Easter - actually very good). Any suggestions? We are still young, so fun atmosphere is important.
Would be up for farm stay with communal meal atmosphere or great B&B that would treat you like family.
Cheers and thanks for any help!

I'll also be in Rome for Easter, arriving the day before and staying through the week. We heard that you MUST have a lunch reservation somewhere on Easter (in Rome proper) b/c everyone goes out to Easter lunch and without a reservation you won't eat. If anyone has suggestions for lunch places open on Easter Sunday that take reservations and are good and authentic, please tell us. One suggestion so far was lunch on the roof of the Forum Hotel, at least for the view. Thanks!!
