Missing my favorite cuban bakery, Portos, in Los Angeles. Anyone know anyplace in NYC that has potato balls or other cuban bakery goods?

I've enjoyed the papa rellena at Flor de Mayo (2 locations: Amsterdam near 83rd St. & Broadway near 101st). It's not served "dry", though. If I remember correctly, it has a sauce that you could probably have on the side.

For the record, Flor de Mayo is Peruvian.

I don't know about other cuban bakery goods but Sophie's (it's a Cuban take out/eat in chain around the city) definitely has papa rellenas and pretty good empanadas in my opinion (try the meat one -- it's juicy and stuffed with meat, green olives and plump raisins.)
