Help! Lunch in Orinda?

Hi - I am having lunch with a friend in Orinda next Monday. Does anyone know of a decent place to eat around 1pm?

Thanks for your help!

  1. Szechuan Chinese is solid, near the country club...but if memory serves they are closed Mondays, too bad

Alex's near the Theatre has good Middle Eastern fare

    Zamboni's Pizza is relatively okay

Always reliable Nation's for the burger fare

Europa Hofbrau has some fans, I'm on a bit on the fence on them

Siam Orchid has good Thai, across from the library

    1. If you're willing to drive 4 miles down HWY 24 to Lafayette you will have some better options including pizza Antica (great thin crust pizza), Chow (solid American Fare) and Bo's BBQ just to name a few.

      Pizza Antica
3600 Mt Diablo Blvd, Lafayette, CA 94549

      Bo's Barbecue
3422 Mount Diablo Blvd, Lafayette, CA

      Chow
53 Lafayette Cir, Lafayette, CA 94549

      1. Shelby's is right there. Here is their lunch menu.

        2 Theater Sq.

        1. I really like Serika in the Theater Square for Japanese. Bento boxes are great and very reasonable for lunch. Sushi is also good.

          1. Here's another vote for Shelby's in Theatre Square. Good sandwiches and salads.
