Any ideas where I can buy some petit fours for a home party? A friend is having a roaring 20's party (before the crash) and we need to bring some theme food - I'm thinking petit fours for some reason - fancy, delicate. Who sells them?
Don't laugh, but the ones from Swiss Colony are quite good.
The bakery at Balthazar sometimes sells them, but they as SO expensive.

You could try DessertDelivery. They are actually pretty good. They have petit fours and they deliver.

Yes, they do. Butterfield Market has lovely petit-fours, as well.
Are you speaking of traditional French petit-fours, or the bite-sized square-shaped cake with an all over fondant-like icing? Thanks.
either or both LeahBaila - thank you for your specificity - but I'm open on this one
