Worst pizza in Fairfield County?

We all know there are lots of places to find pizza in Fairfield County. While there are many good places (I prefer hope pizza in Stamford), I recently came across across one so bad that I threw away the leftover pieces!!! I don't know if anyone has had Speedy's pizza before, but it can barely be called pizza. Has anyone else had horrible pizza experiences like mine? I would love to know.

I've had Speedy's pizza exactly once. Their delivery guy dropped our pizza, so we got a free one. They could've kept it. The tomato sauce tasted rancid, and it was just plain foul. I feel your pain.

Pinocchio's is the worst, the one in Pound Ridge is unedible. But I do know a lot of people who order because Dinardo's does not deliver. Its all about convencience. I just go pick mine up at Dinardos.

Planet Pizza is horrible. I also think the pizza at Pinnochio's in New Canaan is astonishingly bad.

And its (Pinnichio's) recently opened sister location in Scotts Corners is even worse, if that is imaginable.

What is interesting is that around the corner is a fantastic pizza place, Joes Pizza. The son of Joe, Lorenzo, now is the Man on Duty, is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, his pizza is fantastic, he is constantly trying to improve with new items and now he delivers.

What more could you ask?

Yes they do but jfood does not eat meatballs other than his own. Little jfood likes them, but not as much as dear old dad's.

I disagree - my family and I love Pinocchio's. We order from them all the time. But I agree with planet pizza - every time I go, it seems the pizza is stale.

Crossroads Pizza in SoNo. It's a humongous pile of oil with a little bit of dough, cheese and sauce.

oooh, while it would be so easy to just name the chain delivery places, that is institutionalized badness, we just recently tried a local, and were quite amazed at just how crappy it was. Pappas in E. Norwalk, just horrible, so bad it was shocking. Also Tom E Toes in Wilton, while their panini's are not bad and if you go in to the restaurant and order something other than the pizza you should be fine HOWEVER...the pizza was just, barely edible, the crust, was as flavorless as corrugated, come to think of it, properly seasoned cardboard would taste better than this stuff they call pizza.

Planet Pizza, various locations in FFD county - dog excrement would taste better.

4 Brothers Pizza - various locations in FFD county - seemingly made by 4 brothers who have never tasted pizza in their lives...awful.
