My 92 year old aunt wants to go out to lunch for potato pancakes. I have no idea where in the area to find good ones. Can anyone suggest a place?

Muza in Troy also has potato pancakes, and got an excellent review from Celina Ottoway:

It seems like a good place to take an aunt.

The new Wolff's Biergarten has them.

I have the answer: Gershon's Deli on upper Union Street in Schenectady.

It is a classic Jewish deli. When I crave a brisket and chopped liver on rye, they satisfy. Great pickles -- tomato and cucumber.

here's their menu (potato pancakes are listed as a side at the bottom):

Never even thought of Gershon's though we've been there many times. Thanks!
