Scottsdale Casual dinner not too spendy

Any suggestions for a casual dinner with good food but not too expensive in Scottsdale this week?
Has anyone been to Medizona, for instance? Thanks!

  1. Not sure where you will be in Scottsdale as it is pretty big. But in south Scottsdale I'd go with Carlsbad Tavern (way better than Medizona), and if up north a little further, Four Peaks Brewery is a winner.

Thanks for the suggestions! We have friends visiting North Scottsdale and we are in South Scottsdale so it si quite a big territory.

    2. What is your ideal price range per person?

If you haven't already been, I'd suggest Metro Brasserie (Southbridge/ Waterfront area). Entrees start at $15, so it is on the higher end of "not too expensive," but it's casual, and the vibe lively. Add in the quality of the food and I definitely think it's a value.

They also have nightly dinner specials - 2 people, $48.

Thanks for the suggestions-we are in South Scottsdale but have friends staying in North Scottsdale so anywhere in between works.
Metro's menu made me want to have breakfast there too!
Price range of both is perfect and menus look good.

          .Thanks for the suggestions!

      2. Oh, I forgot Mission. Fairly new restaurant in the Old Town area. I haven't been yet, but it's getting good feedback thus far--
