Vienna questions

I am in Vienna right now. Does anyone know the best place to get a sausage (it could be a stand or a restaurant)?

Also I would love to know the best beer bars,

I am staying in the inner Stadt (touristy but very nice).

  1. There are several good sausage kiosks right in the Innere Stadt, the best is the one in front of the Albertina.

    Beer bars are less popular than wine bars.The most popular beer bar is Fischer Bräu on Billrothstrasse. In the inner city I recommend the Gösser Bierklinik in Steindlgasse or the Zwölfapostelkeller in Sonnenfelsgasse. Both are not bars but restaurants.

      und noch eine zweite restaurantempfehlung:

      Weinhaus Arlt, Kainzgasse 17, 1170 Wien. (nur mittwoch bis sonntag)
      -die geröstete kalbsleber ist sensationell!

      Gasthaus Gelbmann , Willelminenstrasse 62, Ottakring
      -der besitzer ist der bruder des besitzers vom Gmoakeller.. sehr gute wiener küche zu vernünftigen preisen und eine "urige" alt-wiener atmosphäre.. keine touristen.

    2. Wurstelstand near the Hotel sacher and another one near the Hilton on the Ringstrasse. The Kaesekrainer ist erlesen!!! Enjoy! {:-)
