Temecula Wine Tour Recommendation
Will be in San Diego mid April and am interested in recommendations for a company that does private tours, 4-6 hours. (car, driver, and color commentary) There will be 3 of us. When I google the topic lots of options come up, but I have true point of comparison (ie...the good, the bad, or the ugly). Any input from personal experience/knowledge would be much appreciated. Also, I assume Temecula to be the best option given the proximity to downtown San Diego, however if CH'ers have other recommendations, I'd be interested in hearing them. Thanks!

This is a topic that has been discussed many times on this board. If you search for Temecula and wine you should find many entries. Take those recommendations then just hire a town car and take your own tour. The companies that conduct "wine tours" in Temecula will most likely take you to the big commercial places where the wine is marginal at best and undrinkable at worst.
