butcher in Whistler


We're going to Whistler on holiday for 2 weeks and I was wondering whether anyone knew of a decent butcher's in Whistler - proper dry-aged organic meat, if perferable. We normally get our steaks from Granville Island but there must be something closer?!?

  1. You can find Black Angus steaks at the IGA in Town, AAA meat at Nesters, there is a butcher in Squamish just off the highway but they are more of the Euro background so not sure about organics. Pemberton just north of Whistler does have farms so maybe head up there...

    1. Nesters has fine steaks, nicely aged. They will cut a nice thick rib eye or new york for you. Then if the place you are staying has a wood fire, sear it right in the flames "black and blue" yum.
