cool lounge/restaurant in Cambridge/Boston/Waltham?

I'm looking for somewhere fun to take my boyfriend out for dinner/drinks tonight; good food is important but atmosphere is key. Cuchi Cuchi is a good example of the type of place I have in mind, but I'm looking for other suggestions. Thanks!

Tempo in Waltham is excellent. Also Tempo's sister in Cambridge, Temple Bar. OM in Cambridge, as already mentioned.

I'd go to dinner at Central Kitchen, and head upstairs after to the Enormous Room.

Hubby and I recently checked out the highly-recommended SIlvertone and loved it. Great retro-lounge atmosphere, really great cocktails, excellent food (fried calamari in particular) but the prices are what really make this an experience to remember. We had 2 apps, 2 entrees and 2 drinks for $46 (plus a generous tip for the great service) which we thought was a total steal.

River Gods might be a good option for Central Square. Food and drinks are good and the decor is very interesting!

Om in Harvard Square has a nice loungy bar on its first floor for drinks(careful, this has sound): http://www.omrestaurant.com/

I have never been to the place you mention, but Tempo in waltham is a cool place. Has a good decor, great drinks, and food is very good.

Biagio in Waltham has an upstairs lounge w/ a bar and couches and low lighting - very modern and chic looking. I've only eaten downstairs, but wandered upstairs out of curiousity my last time there and ever since have wanted to check it out on a Fri or Sat night.

for great drinks and decent food there's always Eastern Standard (more brasserie than lounge, but still fun)...Bond at the Langham has cool atmosphere although the food/drinks are not particularly memorable

I have never been to cuchi cuchi, so I don't know what I'm comparing to. The only "coolish" place I can think of in Waltham, is Solea.
