Has anyone tried the new Bella Cucina Restuarant on the Old Road? It's the one that is next to El Torito, that was formerly a Brazilian Churrescaria (sp?) and before that a Hamburger Hamlet. Just curious if had anything interesting going on. I see from driving by that they have a happy hour. Thanks for any info you have.

We ate there once, few weeks after their grand opening, we didn't like it at all.
Food wasn't good, service was bad, for us was not a good experience.
All started when we were served rock hard bread, really, rock hard bread. When I asked the waiter, I was told that it was Italian bread and was supposed to be like that.
It was impossible to eat that bread! The rest of the meal was just a big joke, dish after dish.
    I'll never go back.

Thanks LisaN. I'll give Strada a try. How do you feel about Cavi in Newhall, or Cavi at Big Oaks?
