Best fresh-roasted coffee beans near Torrance?

I'm a big fan of Groundwork, and when I'm in Hollywood I purchase a pound or two. But I live in Torrance, and I need to find a place closer by that sells fresh-roasted beans (ie: not the Ralph's near me). Anyone have any good tips? Thanks!

Aside from Catalina, here are places with the freshest beans:

Peet's - Torrance gets their weekly batch on Tuesdays, So. Redondo on Wednesdays. If you go on those days, you get beans roasted a day ago (from their No. Cal roasting plant).

Whole Foods Torrance - roast dates varies but they might be able to roast a batch upon request in their fluid bed roaster.

Costco - great price but limited varieties and not much flavor complexity IMO.

I'm not chowhound coffee geek but you could try Catalina Coffee Co. in Redondo Beach. I prefer their medium/light roasts where you can taste the maximum flavor of the bean, but they also have a variety of progressively darker roasts. It's been good for a long time, but i'm not sure about this last batch - i got some dark beans in there giving it a Starbuckification. But even so it's freshly roasted and you can tell the difference.
