Korta - "Best $10 Cab in the store"

My local wine merchant had that sign posted on Korta Barrel Section Reserve Estate Bottled 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon from Bodega y Vinedos Korta Bucarey ltda in Chile's Lontue Valley. Nice cherry and other vague fruit on the nose and in the mouth, beautiful color and gentle tannins make it a good value everyday red.

I got ZERO hits searching Korta on this wine forum, and on winespectator. Two questions:
1. Will anyone share their experience with or comments on this producer?
2. The foils on the Concha y Tora 2007 Diablo series boast that 2007 was such a great year for them. Was 2007 really a great year for the region?

THe Diablo series is an every day'er much like the Korta. They try to keep the wine consistant from year to year. If you enjoy them then it was a good year for you and for the winery because you bought one of their wines.
