Looking for lunch tomorrow, a bit more upscale and relaxed than Chop't, preferably under $15 for main.
How about City Bakery? BTW, it's The Adore, not Tre Adore. As for the Grey Dog's Coffee, I find their food perfectly acceptable but not great in any way. If someone could point me to something they specifically enjoy, I'll give it a try.
Gray Dog just off Union Square has an amazing lunch. It's very casual but has a fun atmosphere.
Also, Coffee Shop on the square.
Both Marquet (12th btwn Univ and 5th) and Tre Adore (13th btwn Univ and 5th) are lovely little lunch spots.
Petite Abeille has nice salads.
