Any recommendations on breakfast around Wash Square? We'll be there from a Sat pm through the next Wed pm so any local recs would be great. TIA

Here are some West Village recommendations, which should be within walking distance:

Patisserie Claude Bakery (croissants, tarts, other items, opens at 7am? I think)
Grey Dog Coffee (opens at 6:30am on weekdays, 7am on weekends)
    'ino (9am daily)
    Morandi (8am on weekdays)
Birdbath (8am Mondays through Saturdays, 9am on Sundays)
Amy's Bread (7:30am on weekdays, weekend hours vary by location but are typically 8/9am)

Agree w/all of kathryn's suggestions (haven't been to Grey Dog, though). I'd just add Rocco for Italian pastries and Cornelia Street Cafe.

North Square has a very good brunch on weekends, too.

North Square has jazz every Sunday afternoon.
