LA - Phoenix AZ

My daughter and I will be leaving LA early afternoon on Saturday March 21, and driving to Tucson. We figure it's too far to drive, so we will stay enroute (in Phoenix or wherever).

We won't be getting to Phoenix until 9 or 10 PM, so our questions are:

1. Any good places to eat west of Phoenix?
2. Any good places to eat in/around Phoenix that would be open late Saturday night?
3. Any good breakfast places in Phoenix or east of Phoenix on the way to Tucson?

Thanks, in advance, to one and all. Your advice makes travelling so much better!

Might be an odd recommendation, but meets the requirements nonetheless. Sivlik Grill just of the I-10 at Whirlwind Golf Course does a pretty good breakfast. Particularly, I order the Huevoes Sivlik everytime.

It's literally right off the freeway on Maricopa Rd just as you are heading out of town.
