Anyone know of a good butcher in the Pittsburgh area to get different cuts of meat like sweatbreads or veal cheeks, etc?
You could try:
http://www.stripdistrictmeats.com/ - you may need to special order.
Or Farmers at the Firehouse - www.slowfoodpgh.com - Good luck!
Tom Friday's, right outside of Bellvue, does a pretty good job.http://tomfridaysmarket.com/
I personally don't, but there is a small operation in Gibsonia called Mish Meats. I wonder if they might? There is also a decent looking butcher on Penn Ave. in the Strip. I wonder if that's something they might be able to help with?
